On October 24, 2000, Rosemary Du Mont, Principal Investigator, and Deborah Bell, Project Manager, presented "Power and Pitfalls of Using Commercial Multimedia Software for Instructional Purposes" at the Ohio Learning Network Navigating 2000 Conference.  View their Powerpoint presentation here.

The Efficiency Challenge Project was made possible by a grant awarded by the Ohio Board of Regents in May 1999.

The goal of the Efficiency Challenge Project is to provide information for educators and legislators as to whether there is a better way to significantly increase the number of fully prepared freshmen in Ohio by stimulating innovative teaching and learning practices in both secondary and post-secondary math and English and to determine if the mediated instruction application of technology in the classroom can be used to improve the delivery of remedial course content.
